This XClutch twin disc rigid ceramic clutch upgrade kit is designed specifically for motorsport use in the FK8 and FL5 Honda Civic Type-R. The twin disc ceramic upgrade offers increased torque and heat capacity over the organic equivalent, but will result in a more direct pedal engagement and is recommended for motorsport use. The kit includes a lightweight 4140 chromoly flywheel, release bearing, bolts and a steel alignment tool. These kits can also be rebuilt by using an XClutch service kit (as long as pressure plate and flywheel remain within rebuild tolerance)

XClutch upgrades come in a variety of styles and configurations to align with the performance goals of your vehicle. Performance upgrades such as these are designed primarily for increased clamping force and performance. Whilst we carefully design each product to minimise increases to NVH, please note that this upgrade may result in changed NVH in the cabin. This is especially prevalent with single mass flywheel conversions and lightweight multi-disc upgrades. This is a normal characteristic for this style of product and is not covered by warranty.

Make sure to check your clutch actuation accessories for wear when repalcing the clutch. Worn clutch forks, pivot balls, cross shafts and hydraulics can all play a big part in clutch feel and long term durability.
