This stage 2 Nissan Z performance clutch upgrade utilises a cushioned ceramic friction disc for very high powered street use. The cushioned ceramic friction disc improves the heat and torque capacity of the clutch over the organic equivalent, but will see a reduction in driveability such as shudder. For vehicles being used for dedicated track use, we also offer a sprung ceramic kit without cushioning (XKNI25530-1B)

This 500 series kit also includes a single-mass conversion flywheel for improved durability. This change of dampening may result in a change to the NVH inside the cabin. please refer to TSB-SMF02 for further information.

XClutch upgrades come in a variety of styles and configurations to align with the performance goals of your vehicle. Performance upgrades such as these are designed primarily for increased clamping force and performance. Whilst we carefully design each product to minimise increases to NVH, please note that this upgrade may result in changed NVH in the cabin. This is especially prevalent with single mass flywheel conversions and lightweight multi-disc upgrades. This is a normal characteristic for this style of product and is not covered by warranty.

Dont Forget To Check

Make sure to check your clutch actuation accessories for wear when repalcing the clutch. Worn clutch forks, pivot balls, cross shafts and hydraulics can all play a big part in clutch feel and long term durability.
